The Zeta Tau Chapter
The Zeta Tau Chapter is the chapter of Sigma Chi designated to the members at Fort Hays State University. There are currently 34 active members. Each brother has been deemed a man of good character that follows the beliefs and morals of Sigma Chi. Each semester we begin with recrutiment trying to find leaders of men who show good values and beleive in high ideals. There is then a 5 week recruitment process leading up to the night of inititiation. Once inititiated, the new brothers have the opportunity to move into our house located directly next to campus, attend chapter meetings, and help coordinated chapter events.
Hunstman Cancer Foundation
The Hunstman Cancer Foundation is the philanthropy that Sigma Chi works to raise money for. In 2012, the Hunstman Cancer Institute became the sole preferred partner of Sigma Chi. Across all chapters, $4,174,000 is raised annually.
Horizons Leadership Summit
Horizons is a leadership development experience for qualified undergraduate Sigma Chis with at least one year remaining in college, and who wish to improve their understanding of leadership as it relates to personal development, group dynamics, and intentional efforts to make positive change in the world.
